will add 2.5% for credit card processing fees and 2.5%
service fee. $2.50 Minimum, $6.00 Maximum per family.
These fees are non-refundable. All Refunds will incur
an additional $5.00 processing fee.

Registration Commonly Asked Questions.
Q: Do I have to reside within certain boundaries to sign up with South Hill Little League?
A: Yes. Being affiliated with Little League means we have to require all players reside within our established
boundaries (see Fields and Boundaries). The only exception to this rule is if your child lives 'outside'
the established boundaries; but, played with SHBSC last season. If so, he/she will receive a 'waiver' from
Little League to continue participating in our league. Note that, according to Little League rules,
only players residing within the S.H.L.L. boundaries will be eligible for All-Star teams.
Q: If we do live outside the boundaries, but play with SHBSC last season where can we obtain the waiver?
A: You can go to http://www.littleleague.org/common/forms/regii(d).pdf , fill in and print the waiver. Then either
mail it to the league or submit it to your child's manager.
Q: To prove residency, what forms/documents will be required?
A: Residence shall be established and supported by documents from THREE OR MORE of the following
categories to determine residency parent(s) or guardian:
1. Driver’s License, 2. Voter’s Registration, 3. School records, 4. Welfare/child care records,
5. Federal records, 6. State records, 7. Local (municipal) records, 8. Support payment records,
9. Homeowner or tenant records, 10. Utility bills (i.e., gas, electric, phone, waste disposal),
11. Financial (loan, credit, investments, etc.) records, 12. Insurance documents, 13. Medical records,
14. Military records, 15. Internet, cable or satellite records, 16. Vehicle records
Note: Example – Three utility bills (three items from No. 10 above) constitute only ONE document.
Q: In what division should I register my child?
A: Use the following chart.
Boys (5 - 6 Year Olds) 'T-Ball'
Boys (6* - 7 Year Olds) 'Coach Pitch' *with one year of T-Ball @ 5 yrs old
Boys Baseball (8 years old - 'No Tryouts') 'Minors' (A)
Boys Baseball (9-11 years old - 'No Tryouts') 'Minors' (AA)
Boys Baseball (9- 10 - 'Tryouts/Draft') 'Minors' (AAA)
Boys Baseball (11-12 - 'Tryouts/Draft') 'Majors'
Boys Baseball (13-14 - 'Tryouts/Draft') 'Juniors'
Girls (5 - 6 Year Olds) 'T-Ball'

Q: Does my child have to attend tryouts?
A: In order for your child to play in one of the 'Drafted' divisions ('AAA', Majors or Juniors), he/she
'must' attend tryouts.
Q: What if we can't get our child to tryouts on the designated Saturday?
A: Beginning this season we are conducting tryouts on both Saturday and Sunday for each of the
'Drafted' divisions. (see 'Calendar' link on website for dates/times)
Q: If my child does not attend tryouts, how will he/she be placed on a roster?
A: Players that do not participate in tryouts will be randomly placed on teams by the Player Agent
and the corresponding Division Director.
Q: Why have Registration fees increased since last year?
A: There are two major reasons. 1) New this year, the league will be providing jerseys & hats
for players at all levels of play. 2) New this year, the league will play 'at least' 140 games
at Heritage Park. All players, aged 8 and up, will get a chance to play on these 'high quality'
fields. Unfortunately, the league has to pay for the use of the Heritage fields.
Q: Will my child get to keep his/her 'jersey/hat' after the season?
A: All players will be able to keep their hats. T-Ball and Coach Pitch players will also be able to keep
their jerseys, but, players at 'A' and above will have to return their jerseys for use the following
season.
